The homeowners advised that water kept pooling by the backsteps. We assessed the roof’s pitch and square footage and determined that a wider gutter would alleviate the issue. So, on the back side of the house, we replaced the existing five-inch gutter with one that is six inches. While one inch may not seem like much, it really makes a difference when it comes to handling waterflow.

Now the homeowners are better prepared for heavy snow storms, as well as the spring rains and summer storms that will surely follow.
