With this very mild winter, our team of gutter professionals is keeping quite busy. The lack of snow on the ground combined with warmer temperatures are allowing us to tackle gutter projects that would typically have to be put on hold until the spring thaw. Whether it’s simple repairs or installation of a completely new gutter system, as long as Mother Nature cooperates, we are getting the job done!
An Exterior Remodel in February? That’s Right!
Homeowners are getting a jump on what would normally be a spring or summer project. While you might think only interior home renovations can be done during the Northeast winters, think again. As long as snow and ice stay out of sight, many exterior renovations can be accomplished as well.
In the last few months, we have been working hand-in-hand with siding contractors on new construction and home remodeling projects. We recently completed the installation of new gutters on a home remodel in Rockland County, New York.
Taking advantage of the unseasonal weather, homeowners in Sloatsburg decided now was the perfect time to move forward with their exterior renovation. Their contractor installed a new front overhang, side overhang, siding and stonework. We were brought in to replace the existing gutter system.
Our team of experienced gutter professionals assessed the square footage of the roof, along with its pitch, to determine the proper size gutters for the job. We then cut the seamless gutters to perfectly fit the runs of the home and expertly installed them. Using seamless gutters allows for custom sizing, which limits the number of joints, decreasing the potential for future leaks. The chosen color blends in with the home’s trim for a cohesive look.
